Sports have always played a big role in my life. Judo has been an important factor in my personal development, and I've always kept exerting myself physically because I believe in its many virtues. Sport has been key in the link between my body and mind, and I've always wished to share sports and the emotions they provoke in me.

For me, sports has always been about feeling good. I love pushing my own limits, let steam out and get an adrenaline rush. I love the way sports can bring me so much energy and memories, and that's why I'm listing for the AS. To help spread and facilitate my passion for sports as something wholesome and fun for the whole campus!

Having dealt with anxiety in high school, taking sports more seriously since last summer has had a significant positive impact on my mental health. Some of my happiest moments in Reims are those I spend on the football pitch with the awesome girls I've met there. Since I've experienced the positive effects sports can have on one's mental and physical health, I'm listing AS to share those benefits with as many people as possible, all while becoming more engaged in student life.

I’m listing AS because sport has a special place in my heart. I’ve skied since I was 2, I’m not even sure when I started playing tennis, and I played football for 5 years as a kid. I’ve made a lot of my best memories through sport like attending Wimbledon, going on ski vacations with my family, or the countless weekends spent going to tennis tournaments with my dad. I could go on for hours, but in a sentence: sports are a part of me to the extent that very few things are, and I want to share that with this campus.

I remember losing my first volleyball game. Not because score or our tears, but because of what I learned, the friendships I made and my teammates' ecstatic reaction to me scoring my first point. Sport has forged the person I am today, and it has remained a constant in my life until today. I want to share this love of sports, which is why I'm listing AS. The position of Head of comm' would also allow me to share my other passion, art, with all of you.

First and foremost, sport helped me to gain self-confidence, by changing my body, that I used to dislike. Secondly, I really see it as a way to have fun, by meeting new people and creating team spirit (s/o foot loisir). This year, I realized the importance of campus life, and the opportunity to contribute to it through the AS pushed me to list for the bureau. I believe that my passion for sports, coupled with my sense of organization would work very well.

As a child, I tried out about every sport in exsitence, tennis, field hockey and netball (this British thing) being my favorites. All my extra curricular activities would be sports related. Now I consider sports to be an outlet, a way to let off steam, all the whilst helping me stay in shape and helping me gain confidence. It's also a perfect way to meet people and try something new (I picked up football for the first time at Sciences Po this semester In any case, sports has stayed an important part of my life and that's why I'm listing AS

I am a sports addict. It evidently runs in the family as everyone from my grandfather to my brother played football in their youth, myself included. Sport is part of my everyday life, from tennis to football to marathons. It has allowed me to always surpass myself, but also to create strong friendships. This is why I'm so enthusiastic about listing AS: I want to share the values and emotions of sport with our campus.

Constantly built up with energy, ambition, and sometimes anxiety, sports  allow me to feel more at ease with myself and my surroundings. It started with synchronized swimming, swim team, and surfing with dad. When I was diagnosed with scoliosis, I had to balance out these water sports with yoga, gym training, and running. I remember walking in to nearly every yoga studio in San Diego, seeing every physical therapist, chiropractor, and orthopedic doctor. After years I realized I'd have to figure this one out on my own. And that's the journey I've embarked on ever since: exercising to "self-check" any internal problems, maintain my wellbeing, exceed my limitations, and still practice my favorite sports. That’s why I hope to share this journey as a member of AS on our campus.

Sport is my passion, I've practiced quite everything: football, judo, tennis, swimming, surfing, cycling, athletics and rugby. With a very sporty father, a former soldier and triathlete, I have always had a role model. What I've always preferred is to do sports alone in Nature. I would like to share with you the unique emotions that sport provides thanks to AS without forgetting to be inclusive: we are not there to impress others but above all to impress ourselves!

have done a lot of different sports in my life and it truly helped me find well-being and feel good about my body. I think it is very important to have a healthy lifestyle and this is what I want to bring on campus. I want to show that sports is for everyone, whether or not you are an athlete you can really find self-confidence with sports! There are so many sports, everyone can find what is best suited for them and for their well-being. To me, the latter is the most important part (plus having fun of course!) and I really want to make it a big deal on campus and to help anyone who wants to feel better about themselves or just to manage one's stress better!

I don't live for sport, but I couldn't live without it. I love giving it my all, and I'm always trying to surpass myself. Sports have a massive influence in the way I approach daily-life challenges as well. Summarising my feelings for sport in a few sentences is no easy task, but if I had to do it, I would simply say it's key to my well-being, and I'm convinced that everyone can do it. So if I'm listing AS, it's so that everyone can know the well-being sport makes me feel.

Beginning when I was little, I have tried a myriad of sports, but I truly found my calling when I started combat sports in 10th grade. Krav maga has been a way for me to get away from stress, doubt and anxiety. While I can no longer train as much as I did when I became Vice Champion of France in 12th grade, I remain convinced of the benefits that sport can bring.

My name is Daniel and I come from Granada, Spain, a city at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains. It's because of that that I've been snowboarding for 7 years now. I truly love it because it makes me feel free. I also play football, basically since I was born. I even played for a professional team when I was 16, it taught me a lot about teamwork since, even if you're the best player ever, you won't get far without a team supporting you. I've also practiced mixed martial arts.

Sport is passion and used to be my purpose. Today, it's necessary to my well-being, adn it has been instrumental in acquiring my values: solidarity, perseverance, team spirit. I tried all kinds of sports before finally discovering my love for basketball. Sport makes me feel free and invincible.

Sports has meant a lot of different things tome over the course of my life. I have represented my country in two different sports and I have competed at every level possible. I have love competing against others and myself, but over time I have developed a real appreciation for the camaraderie and community that sports provides. I'm listing for AS precisely so that I can help promote sports as tool to bring us together and better ourselves.
